I ordered these trees in February and received them in March. After planting the tree, it has been growing wonderful. The leaves are growing at a very good pace and like the 2 fold (green and red) leaf. I can't wait to see it bigger.

Just a follow-up to advise you that the Summers Red maple tree arrived as scheduled. The packing was excellent and the tree was in perfect shape. The tree itself looks like a very good specimen and is leafing out wonderfully.

I planted my maple tree in our very rocky poor soil and this summer turned out to be a drought! It is doing well and has new leaf buds. I think it will continue to do well. The leaves have turned to fall colors.

I planted about twenty trees last summer. I cannot explain why, but this has become my favorite of all. I love the color and its steady growth. I am so happy I put it near my master bath window. This way I can see it every morning while I get ready.

I have planted my summers red maple on my waterfront lake property, where it is thriving, very healthy and beautiful ! I have never been more pleased with watching a tree grow as I have this one. It is only one of 35 trees planted on the property this year alone, and it is by far the one that stands out among the rest.

This tree is great- it was packaged perfectly, the planting directions were very clear, and this little tree has indeed grown at least twelve inches in the year it's been planted. I bought the smallest size offered, so while it has grown up, it hasn't grown out yet. I don't expect much volume for a few years. But if it keeps growing as swiftly as it's done, I will have an excellent maple shade tree soon.

A great tree for beginners! Once planted, it needed very little attention other than regular moisture/watering. It's going strong after 1/12 years of growing.

We planted our maple last year. Honestly, it was smaller than I expected so I thought no way it would grow very fast. But, by this year, this tree has at least tripled in size. It is growing so fast and is beautiful. Thanks for such a tree.

The summers red maple is doing fantastic. had about 16" of growth just this summer. It will be for shade in the front yard between my driveway and the neighbors driveway. I purchased another one this year and it is struggling a little but about 3 weeks after planting we had a 3 week stretch in colorado of 90' or more and i think it got a little stressed. have high hopes for next spring.

This is a fairly basic tree to plant. The Summers Red Maple is probably one of the hardiest maples that I have planted. We had 65mph winds thru here this summer that pulled up many other tress that I had. I thought for sure I would loose this tree, but I didn't. You will enjoy the fall colors.

I was skeptical about recieving a tree thru the mail and it was so small. To my surprise, both trees are doing very well and are about 5-6 ft. tall. I can't wait until nect spring to see how much more they have grown, they sure seem to be a very hardy tree! We planted them both to replace our white birch trees that were dying, I am very happy with the purchase of these trees. Thank you so much.

When we first got our little maple tree, we realized right away we needed to protect it from the wind and sun. We're in the Prescott area in AZ and the winds here seem to suck the moisture right out of the leaves in the spring and summer. We constructed a sun screen around it, and it seemed to do quite well, and also weathered the winter without problem. This summer it grew quite a bit, and we felt comfortable enough to reduce the sun screen protection by half. We love our little tree and feel it was from really hardy stock to survive in our environment. I might also add that we did little to amend the soil here, which is largely decomposed granite, and it's still doing very well.

It really is a pretty tree, and I really lucked out because it is prefectly proportioned all the way around. I love the tree, however it isn't growing as fast as I expected it to. I'm probably just impatient because the sun sets directly in my front windows and heats the house so much. This was the purpose for buying the tree. I do think it was a good choice though.

These have been outstanding trees. Purchased 3 of them to add color to current landscaping. We experienced a severe ice storm last Dec. and we didn't have time to protect them however all three held up beautifully with no residual issues. All have grown about 3-4 inches within the first year. We have a lot of clay in our soil which prevents quick growth for about 3 years however once rooted through the clay tree growth tends to catch up quickly. Based on current results with these trees I have no reason to believe they won't catch up as well.
