Loblolly Pine Trees are one of the fastest growing evergreens you can find.
These adaptable trees are often planted as a large, quick growing privacy screen. They're long lived, too... so you don't have to worry about a short life span.
Loblollies are known for growing very straight & symmetrical. In fact, they were often used for timber in the 1800's.
These evergreens are very easy to grow in Zones 6-9. Adaptable to almost any soil type and climate in these zones.
You can even plant them alone for a large evergreen shade tree.
Plant them to attract chipmunks, squirrels, and all sorts of birds. Pine needles grow 6 to 9 inches long.
