Siberian Crabapple

The Cold-Hardy Tree you Can't Kill!

• Gorgeous, full white blooms
• Disease resistant
• Tolerant to drought and salt

The Siberian Crabapple is one of the best trees for adding color to your landscape, especially when planted in rows along roads or driveways. This hardy new variety of the Crabapple tree gives you full blooms & amazing adaptability.

Beautiful white flowers bloom in the spring, creating an aesthetic and fragrant landscape. A great flowering street tree… other flowering trees won't bloom as full because of the smog and exhaust from passing cars. But the Siberian Crabapple can resist these pitfalls and still give you beautiful blooms! Imagine greeting your visitors with beautiful blooming crabapples.

Siberian Crabapples are drought & salt tolerant, meaning you don't have to constantly baby your new trees. They are also very disease resistant, and can adapt to almost any conditions.

Another dependable characteristic is the Siberian Crabapple's consistent growth habit. These trees always grow symmetrically, giving you an attractive tree each and every time.

Grows in Zones 2-7.

Enjoy a blizzard of springtime blooms by ordering your new Crabapples today.

It's Easy to Plant your Siberian Crabapple

Step 1 - Dig Your Hole
Select a site with full to partial sun and moist or well drained soil for your Siberian Crabapple. If you're planting a hedge, mark out a visual guide by placing stakes five to six feet apart and looping string around them. Plant the trees where the stakes are and they'll grow together to make a dense privacy screen. First, dig each hole so that it is just shallower than the root ball and at least twice the width. Then loosen the soil in the planting hole so the roots can easily break through. Use your shovel or try dragging the points of a pitch fork along the sides and bottom of the hole.

Step 2 - Place Your Tree
Next, separate the roots of your Siberian Crabapple gently with your fingers and position them downward in the hole. The top of the root flare, where the roots end and the trunk begins, should be about an inch above the surrounding soil. Then make sure the tree is exactly vertical in the hole. To make it just right, use a level.
Step 3 - Backfill Your Hole
As you backfill the hole, apply water to remove air pockets. Remove debris like stones and grass and completely break up any dirt clumps. Water your Siberian Crabapple again after the transplant is complete. To help retain some of that moisture, it's recommended that you place mulch around each tree to a depth of 2"-3" up to but not touching the trunk. Organic mulches such as wood chips or pine needles also help to better soil structure as they decompose.
