Gorgeous, Two-Tone Grass Adds Color and Texture
Why Little Miss Dwarf Maiden Grass?
Small but mighty, the Little Miss Dwarf Maiden Grass packs a big visual punch into a compact package. Its dwarf size makes it an ideal alternative to larger American prairie grasses - and its striking beauty will dramatically change the character of your landscape or garden.
In spring, the Little Miss features long stalks of bright green foliage, transitioning to a bold magenta-purple in summer and fall. The center of the grass will retain its green hue, providing an elegant two-tone effect. In midsummer, the Little Miss Dwarf Maiden Grass blooms with red flowers that turn into feathery, buff-colored plumes in fall.
Plant the Little Miss Grass individually or in groups to line a border or add texture to garden beds. Its compact size also makes it great for balcony window boxes and decorative pots. This grass is also deer-resistant and bird-friendly, providing low-maintenance color and texture wherever it's planted.

Planting & Care
1. Planting: Plant in an area with full to partial sun (4-8 hours of sunlight per day). Select a location with well-drained soil and dig a hole that's large enough to accommodate your Maiden Grass root ball.
After you've planted, mulch the surrounding area and water to settle the roots.
If planting in a container, select a pot that's 1-2 sizes larger than your Little Miss's shipped container, with good drainage.
2. Watering: Water regularly while your Little Miss Dwarf Maiden Grass is establishing during the first growing season. After that, water weekly, or more often in extreme heat or drought. If you plant your Maiden Grass in containers, you'll also want to water more frequently. Check the soil and water when soil is dry to the touch two inches down.
3. Pruning: Your Little Miss Maiden Grass won't require pruning, although you can remove dead foliage before new leaves emerge for a neater look. You can divide and replant your Little Miss every 2-3 years.
Estimated Shipping Time: Most orders ship immediately. As noted on the website, some items are seasonal, and may only ship in spring or fall. Once your order is shipped, you'll receive an email with a tracking number.
