Cold Hardy, Versatile Evergreen Growth

Why Wintergreen Boxwoods?

The cold hardy Wintergreen Boxwood, also known as Korean Boxwood, is an incredibly versatile shrub. It adds appeal to casual or formal landscape designs, and when grouped, Wintergreen complements most any garden and looks fantastic in decorative pots to accent a deck or patio.

Plus, it's compact and easy to shape. This evergreen, dense shrub performs like a superstar when shaped into topiary designs or even bonsai art. The slow-growing Wintergreen Boxwood typically gains only 2 to 3 inches annually, maturing to heights of about 3 feet with a 4 to 5 foot spread with little upkeep.

Why Fast-Growing-Trees.com is Better

For starters, our Wintergreen Boxwood is great-looking, with oval leaves that feature a finely-textured look as their bright green hues darken slightly with age. An ongoing two-tone feature of bright and dark green foliage adds depth to this ornamental shrub.

But aside from its beauty and adaptable, hassle-free growth (with pest, deer and disease resistance), it's just as easy to grow for the beginning gardener as for the novice grower. That's because we've planted, grown and nurtured it for top perks and a healthy root system. No need to visit big box...we've done the hard work at the nursery so that you get a ready-to-grow specimen that arrives right at your door.

So, enjoy the vibrant green color all year. Experiment with creating different shapes, effortlessly. Get your own Wintergreen Boxwood today!

Love these Boxwoods

I purchased 64 of the 3 gallon boxwoods. They arrived in fantastic condition. I planted them in a hedge arrangement around the perimeter of my property.

I am a Believer! FastGrowingTrees is Legit! Great Experience Start To Finish

I am from a Small town. We live off of the Big "A" online purchasing here, as I find the stores here seem to usually not have the product I am looking for. Now my town is not that small we have three Super Ws, and the Blue and Orange Big Box home improvement stores, and a few independent nurseries, so we are close to living in Po-Dunk, but we have options here. I looked and priced boxwoods. I was looking locally at $23 for a 2 Quart really small plant, and then that option went away, as somebody snagged them. I am so glad they did. I started searching for plants options online close to me and found this place out of SC. I am currently in West Texas, and I know SC is nice and Humid as I did US Army Basic Training back in the late 1980s, so I knew this place must be great for growing plants. Windowpane dripping humidity. I will admit I was very leery at First about this place. "Online Plants" I was wondering how they shipped? I found the video help on the web site. I Liked the Cardboard packaging that holds 2 plants per pack. I saw the FedEx Ship times to my location was 3 days on their info page. I called the number and asked about the 1 year warranty, as it is very hot here in West Texas. The Lady I spoke to, Forget her name, was very helpful and knowledgeable. I asked about the 1 year warranty as I was fixing to pull the trigger on 18 plant$. I asked her to hold the plants until the following Tuesday as I did not want the plants to sit at FedEx Warehouse on a Sunday, and she agreed. At this point I had myself convinced that this company was very legit. Initially I bought 2 each 8 packs of the Boxwoods and two Nandina Obsession. BTW I ended up buying two more Nandina Obsession on purchase #2 to frame the Back yard Plantings. I had a "Glitch" somewhere in the shipping lane on that 2nd order. I think the Gorilla that did the Samsonite Luggage TV commercials back in the 1970s might have been hired by the Global shipping company? I called and they squared me away resending the plant damaged in transit. I had Planted very similar variety of boxwoods when I lived in San Antonio next to the housed in a limestone planter. The next spring I went out and purchased another 10 each Boxwoods and planted in between the original planting because I knew it was going to take along time to make the "Hedge" look I was aiming for. I am not going to have that problem here. I bought a half yard of some good Garden mix soil and was ready to go when the plants arrived. The plants were all of uniform height (22-24 Inches-2 Gal) Green and Beautiful, packaged nicely, zip tied at the base of the plant holding the moist planting material and time release Fertilizer they add. If a picture is worth 1000s words. Here are a few 1000 more. I am very PLEASED with the ENTIRE experience I have had with FastGrowingTrees!
