Awesome, lovely tree
The Ann Magnolia tree arrived in great condition! Since planting it, there is new growth, however, some of the established leaves look stressed. Very excited to watch it grow.

Great Ann Magnolia tree from Fast-Growing Trees!
We were very happy when we received our Magnolia Tree after ordering online from Fast-Growing Trees. The service was great as well. Delivery was quick; and ordering process was easy. Arrived very health and ready to grow against the odds
I am in the North East and I planted just one week before we experienced extremely hot, sunny and dry weather for almost a month straight. The leaves actually began to "crisp up". but with a little protection from the 8 to 10 hours of blistering sun and keeping the tree moist, It still produced new leaves within a couple of weeks. I will help it through the winter as well. I will update in the spring! Art.

Planting & Care

It's Easy to Plant & Care for Your Ann Magnolia

Ann Magnolia Planting Diretions

Plant your Ann Magnolia in a spot in your yard that receives full sun. Acidic to normal soils are best, so you may need to amend your soil if it is very alkaline. Make sure the soil is well-draining. Plant in a hole twice as wide but just as deep as the root ball. Add a thick layer of mulch around the tree.

Watering: Water frequently until the plant is established. You might need to water more than once a week during hot or dry months. Once established, only water during periods of drought.

Pruning: Once established, you can prune your Ann Magnolia immediately after it blooms. You can train this tree into a small shrub if desired. Pruning is not required for the health of this tree.

Fertilization: Fertilize with a magnolia-appropriate fertilizer in March.

I love the flowers!

I live on Long Island so I am near the northern limits for many of the other Magnolia varieties. Also these will be planted on a north-facing slope. The Ann Magnolia has a much more northern-friendly growing distribution so I hope it will do well.
