By: Maggie in Raeford, NC about  Natchez Crape:
Its going to be very beautiful when it takes off. It has grown probably bout a foot or so since i received it and its on its way. hopefully it will have more leaves and some color next spring.

By: Dorothy in Long Island, NY on 11/13/2008 about  Tonto Crape Myrtle:
I like the Tonto crape myrtle very much . The tree is planted in my front yard .. I planted in front of a window to block the view from the street to give me privacy.. maybe next year it will have already grown high enough to cover the window......

By: Terry about  Leyland Cypress:
Trees are doing Great! Growing like weeds. I just love them.

By: Kathy about  Leyland Cypress:
We have bought many Leland Cypress trees and love them.  They are hardy, fast growing and weather tolerant.  We are on the beach in LI, NY.

By: Bill in Sparta, GA about  Red Dogwood:
Both of my Red Flowering Dogwoods are doing well but one is better than the other. Foliage and flowers did well. Would have thought they would have grown a little faster but they appear to be ok considering that they were starting from root stock.

By: Betsy in Boston, MA about  Royal Empress Tree:
I needed a fast growing tree to replace a Mimosa I had for years. I searched FGT and found the Royal Empress Tree. I received the tree as a small

By: Steve in NY about  Royal Empress Tree:
The Royal Empress is quite the Tree, the first year she grew nicely to almost 10 feet, but we cut her to the ground . Well, this spring she sent up 4 new shoots, so we cut out the weakest of the lot and low and behold, the tree is growing at a phenomenal rate, in six weeks she is now 4 feet and beautiful again. One odd thing, the stick we cut down was thrown in back of the barn and left there as waste, but when I went to the back to throw it in the trash I notices buds growing out of the dead wood!!! Or so I thought it was dead. Anyway, I cut up pieces and planted them, YES, I now have three more trees in the making, The Empress is one super survivor, and fun to grow! I get many oohs and ahhhs!

By: Lana in NW Missouri about  Royal Empress Tree:
My trees arrived today and Im very happy with how they look. I was expecting the little infamous sticks, but instead I got 2 tiny beanstalks. I am very happy with how well it was packaged - almost too well! The instructions seem pretty clear and easy to follow. After purchasing this tree, I tried to do a little research on the development stages of the tree with little luck.

By: Don in Sulphur, LA about  Autumn Blaze Maple:
This tree arrived in great condition. Due to the hurricanes, and the loss of 25 trees on my property, my Autumn Blaze maple tree is a welcomed sight. Even though I am in zone 9, I think this tree will make it. I will keep you all posted.

By: Tiffany in West Virginia about  Autumn Blaze Maple:
A great tree! We planted the Autumn Blaze maple tree on our new construction lot. We were worried because of the condition of the soil after construction. However, the maple tree is doing great. It bloomed last spring and turned red this fall.

By: Trina about  Summers Red Maple:
A great tree for beginners! Once planted, it needed very little attention other than regular moisture/watering. Its going strong after 1/12 years of growing.

By: Kim in Richmond, VA about  Summers Red Maple:
My maple is growing slowly, but doing well.

By: Lorenzo about  Summers Red Maple:
This is a fairly basic tree to plant. The Summers Red Maple is probably one of the hardiest maples that I have planted. We had 65mph winds thru here this summer that pulled up many other tress that I had. I thought for sure I would loose this tree, but I didnt. You will enjoy the fall colors.

By: 3-H Rancher in Laredo, TX about  Sawtooth Oak:
All I know is these Sawtooth Oak trees have been abused and they keep growing. I ordered three. Two have been eaten by deer; down to the nub and they grew back. One "died" but had a new shoot growing within the day. It now stands three feet tall. Oh, and the temperature has been over 100 everyday, but still they grow. Wow. I cant wait to see how they grow over the next year. I like the way you people do business and consequently, youll always be the first site I check when Im looking for a specific product.

By: Rachel about  Newport Flowering Plum:
I order this plum tree mid-February along with some other fruit trees. The tree arrived without any damage, and was full of branches. My tree had been in the ground for about 2 1/2 weeks and already has about 2 dozen blooms and lots of leaves. It has been exciting to watch this tree thrive. Thanks for the great product!

By: Jake in Southern NJ about  Hybrid Poplar:
I will start by saying that when it comes to trees and landscaping, I dont know much. My lawn looks terrific, but trees and shrubbery are a different story. I have a single story house with a small front yard, and 100% sunlight beating on my living room all day long. The living room is several degrees higher than the rest of the house, just because of this. So I need some shade fast in my front yard. I found this tree by doing a simple search on Google for "fast growing tree". Within 3 days of doing that search, my hybrid poplar arrived. I was shocked to see a large root ball, and the excellent health of the tree overall. Ive seen others, and they come as a stick with a single new root. Not this one, it came with a nice root ball that was ready to grow right out of the box. I planted mine on 6/20/09, thinking it was already late in the season, and that we might not see a whole lot of growth in this year. I planted it that same day at 59 1/2 inches. By 8/4/09 I went out and measured it, and it was at 89 inches tall already. I measured it again this morning ,8/30/09, and it currently sits at 103 inches tall ,over 8 ft. tall!,. So in a grand total of 2 months and 1 week, we have gotten a vertical growth of 43 1/2 inches. We also have several nice branches starting to grow. When I planted it, I dug out a much larger hole in the ground, and mixed in 2 bags of good top soil, some peat moss, and some scotts planting soil. Since then, I cannot believe the speed with which this tree is growing. I could not be happier with such a simple purchase. Thank you very much to the people growing these trees...it is a bargain of a price, and a very well cared for young tree. Hopefully at this rate, by the end of year 3 we will see some shade on our living room.

By: Fred in Nampa, ID about  Hybrid Poplar:
Its growing by leaps and bounds. It has a nice shape. The trunk will probably be strong enough next year to go without being supported. A few times we thought our winds had totally blown it down, but we would stake it up again and it continued to grow.

By: Willis in Lincoln, NE about  Hybrid Poplar:
I like the fast growth as I need shade fast. Great tree. The tree took to growing like it belonged here, it will make a great shade tree in my lawn.

By: Todd about  Hybrid Poplar:
Just received the two hybrid poplar trees a couple days ago, and got them planted. They looked wonderful! Even had leaves on them, and very little wilt. Thank you so much for your help, and taking care of me quickly. Very nice company to deal with. Hope yall have a great week!

By: Chris about  Thuja Green Giant:
These are very hardy trees and thrive in any soil. I have a total of 16 Thuja Giants and not one of them has had a problem.

By: Fred about  Thuja Green Giant:
Planted trees 4-5 ft. apart single row to line back yard for pool privacy. Started with 18 in. trees some now are 4 1/2 ft. tall most are 3ft. tall. Very low maintenance. Bought about 50 of these and have lost three of them. Beautiful trees, cant wait to see what they look like in three years.

By: Nancy about  Thuja Green Giant:
These trees were purchased for their flexibility in extreme temperatures and for shade, of course. Theyre well on their way to becoming robust trees!

By: Misty about  Tri Color Willow:
BEAUTIFUL! We looked around for a good tree to plant in our front

By: Brad about  Willow Hybrid:
Bought 25 trees last october. they all are growing at a good pace except 2 or 3 trees. Looks like we may lose 2 or 3. Overall i am very satisfied.

By: Bernice Barnett about  Frost Proof Gardenia:
It made it through the winter covered but just barely. I transplanted into a pot from the ground so I can move to greenhouse next winter

By: Ralph Barris about  Meyer Lemon Tree:
easy growing...little care

By: Mario about  Meyer Lemon Tree:
Nice tree did very well on the deck.

By: Annie about  Arbequina Olive Tree:
The tree is indeed fast growing. Though it looked nothing like the picture. It is a beautiful tree all the same, though I am concerned about the distance between the branches and if it will fill out round and robust as the image in teh catalog would suggest. The tree arrived witha white powder on the leaves and a few small black dots that appeared to be some kind of excrement. I wrote to the company but received no reply -

By: Monica Hansen about  Double Knockout Rose:
I loved that the bush was loaded with lots of red roses all the time. Tolerates heat great with temperatures above 100 degrees.

By: Deborah Taylor about  Pink Knockout Rose Tree:
I love this little rose tree! easy to take care of and beautiful to look at! I love these trees so much i have all three! white, red and pink!

By: Ray Francisco about  Pink Knockout Rose Tree:
I recieved my Pink Knockout Rose tree in may and its been blooming ever since. It looks great and is doing well even with the extremely warm and dry summer this year in Illinois.

By: J Write about  Little Gem Magnolia:
The trees have not grown much in 4 months but have produced flowers. Unfortunatey the flowers start to turn brown before they are even fully open.

By: Linda about  Eucalyptus Tree:
I was so pleased with my two plants and how they were shipped so well. The size is perfect for my sun room. We will be buying more plants from you! Thank you so much. Just love my plants!!!!!!

By: Vicki Brown about  Double Knockout Rose:
Beautiful!!! Purchased 10 3-gal. plants for small hedge. Continuous blooms. Hardy for snowy, northern climates.

By: Lé Harper about  Cold Hardy Avocado:
They forgot to tell one thing about this tree. It is beautiful. Like Japanese garden beautiful. Love it, Love it, Love it.

By: Rebecca about  Golden Raspberry:
Super duper plant. Easy to grow, lots of shoots. Fruit melts in your mouth. Sweeter than the Red and Purple Raspberries. Frows summer, then new years shoots put lovely big berries on the top part of the vine (don't prune it till after this harvest) in late october early november. Amazing. These are grazing berries, they are delicate and do not handle well, though we freeze them anyway, and make great jam too.

By: C Brown about  Burning Bush:
I love red bush and this is the reddest bush I could find! if you like red bush you will really get into this one

By: Nicole from California about  October Glory Maple:
I love these trees! Fast growth, planted in March and have had a foot and a half growth already in 3 months. Vigorous, healthy and flexible little trees. Many branches grew from where there were only leaves. I look forward to fall color!

By: Bonnie B about  Royal Empress Tree:
I bought this tree in Jan with high hopes that it would live up to its reviews of being fast-growing, beautiful and fragrant. We planted it right away and it went from a bare stick with roots to having some beautiful fuzzy leaves but it never grew more than a few inches in over 6 months. So we tried cutting it to the ground like so many have said to do and it's gorwing but very slowly... We live in Forida in zone 11 so Im not sure what the problem is. I'd love to get some tips on what to do so I can change my rating because I would love to have more, if they lived up to their reputation.

By: Julian W. Brown about  October Glory Maple:
The tree arrived in a timely fashion and is growing well.

By: Cheryl about  Ginkgo Tree:
Great color, grows fast, very hardy, even survives the deer scrape

By: becci about  Burning Bush:
My burning bush has been well established for years and it has always been in full sun. I use it to hide the hose and recycle bins at the side of my home. It also provides a screen for my bathroom window and it gives a beautiful display of color in the fall. The birds also enjoy this bush too.

By: Nancy Miller about  Cleveland Pear Tree:
this tree arrived in excellent condition and has done really well. It even bloomed this spring, even though it was less than a year old. Very pleased

By: Katherine in San Antonio, TX about  Kwanzan Cherry:
I bought the Kwanzan Cherry tree for a sitting area I created in the back...I cant wait until it blooms. This first year, the tree seems to have been getting established and has thicken and strengthened with many buds and leaves. I am hopeful this year the tree grow several feet. Thank YOU...I cant wait to fully enjoy this tree and its beautiful and unique blooms. Im sure to be the envy of the neighbors.

By: Carole in Marietta, PA about  Dynamite Crape Myrtle Tree:
We decided to plant a Dynamite Crape Myrtle Tree after seeing how beautiful they look on the South Carolina highways. I was a little hesitant to buy a tree at all, but after searching the web and finding your web site, I decided to purchase a Dynamite Crape Myrtle tree. So far it is really doing well. It is growing fast and I am very excited. Thanks for sending such a healthy tree. We are very happy with our purchase and will definitely buy from your nursery again.

By: Barbara in Palmyra, PA about  Dynamite Crape Myrtle Tree:
I am more than satisfied. My dynamite crape myrtle trees are growing and bloomed this past summer. I am getting ready to cut them back even though they are 5 ft tall, at least. I am using them near my property line for a bit of color; the red is a rich, happy color. I hope to purchase 6 more in the spring!

By: Steve in Ada, OK about  Dynamite Crape Myrtle Tree:
I purchased and planted 6 dynamite crape myrtle earlier this year. I selected the crape myrtles due to their excellent color and their ability to thrive in the hot Oklahoma summers. I placed them on either side of the driveway, two at beginning, two at the end and two in the middle. They look great from the road and improve the curb appeal of my home.

By: Blanchie in FL on 11/13/2008 about  Tonto Crape Myrtle:
My Tonto Crape Myrtle was beautiful this summer it has grown tremendously. I have really enjoyed it.

By: Cynthia in Troy, MI about  Royal Empress Tree:
We wanted to plant a tree that would block the neighbors garage door and basketball hoop from our bedroom window view. We wanted to plant something that would grow fast and also be beautiful for both us and our neighbors. We were shocked that the tree which was the size of a pencil when we received it grew about an inch daily...literally you could watch it grow, even after I stepped on it and broke it off to the ground. My neighbors continually commented on its growth, it sparked intense curiosity from everyone that walked by ....at the end of season one it had grown 12 feet. We call it the magic bean tree! the leaves were about 3 feet in diameter!! Right now it is in the middle of winter and it lost all of its leaves/branches and we are anxious to see it come to life again in the spring. Everything we have purchased from you comes well packed and healthy. We have several more landscaping projects this season coming up and will be ordering again for the third season from you. Weve never been disappointed.

By: Henny in Redding, CA about  Royal Empress Tree:
Never have I had a tree like the Royal Empress. Six months later its over 8 feet tall and growing by the day, we can actually see it grow. Our neighbors really do ask us about it. It is truly an amazing tree. One I will have to order again.

By: Alvylyn about  Jane Magnolia:
I bought Magnolia Jane last year and I so very happy with it. I will definitely buy my next trees from you.

By: Elizabeth about  Autumn Blaze Maple:
We bought an Autumn Blaze Maple in 2005 to put the our centre front yard.  It is a beautiful tree!  We have many people slow down or stop in our front to look at the awesome colour of this amazing tree!

By: Chris about  Summers Red Maple:
When we first got our little maple tree, we realized right away we needed to protect it from the wind and sun. Were in the Prescott area in AZ and the winds here seem to suck the moisture right out of the leaves in the spring and summer. We constructed a sun screen around it, and it seemed to do quite well, and also weathered the winter without problem. This summer it grew quite a bit, and we felt comfortable enough to reduce the sun screen protection by half. We love our little tree and feel it was from really hardy stock to survive in our environment. I might also add that we did little to amend the soil here, which is largely decomposed granite, and its still doing very well.

By: Donna about  Summers Red Maple:
It really is a pretty tree, and I really lucked out because it is perfectly proportioned all the way around. I love the tree, however it isnt growing as fast as I expected it to. Im probably just impatient because the sun sets directly in my front windows and heats the house so much. This was the purpose for buying the tree. I do think it was a good choice though.

By: Brandon in Fort Wayne, IN about  Hybrid Poplar:
This tree is growing quite nicely even through the first harsh winter we had. It still is growing at a rapid rate. I highly recommend the Hybrid Poplar.

By: Tim in Lansing, MI about  Lombardy Poplar:
We bought these trees to make a privacy fence between us and our neighbors. They are growing great. All but one has grown 3 feet in the first year.

By: Robert in Forest, VA about  Thuja Green Giant:
I purchased 25 of the 1-2 Thuja Green Giants in September 2008. My son and I planted them within 2 days of receiving them. Today they are 3 ft+ and looking great. I keep them mulched and do not allow grass to grow in the mulch. I also monitor the moisture in the ground near the trees to determine whether or not I need to add water. Ive only had to water them about 4 times in 10 months! I took pictures when I planted them and compare them to what they look like today and it is amazing.

By: Chris in Bonney Lake, WA about  Thuja Green Giant:
Great packing job. I bought the 2 to 3 footers, and thats what they were. Nice root system and put them in right away, followed instructions with the root fertilizer in hard rocky soil and added 50% topsoil in with backfill. Ill update growth progress as it happens. Im curious to see how they do in Washington state.

By: Ross about  Tri Color Willow:
I planted my tri colored willow about a week ago and I must say i thought it would at least loose a few leaves. But to my surprise the total opposite has happened. The pink variegated leaves on this thing are really something to see. I cant wait till the entire bush is covered with pink. Also i was extremely happy with the way my order came. The packing was awesome.

By: Chelsea about  Thornless Blackberry:
this is our second year with fruit and they are BIG, JUICY blackberries, with no thorns, so the kids have an easy time picking - thanks!

By: Brian Grodzki about  Weeping Willow:
The tree i received is in its second year in my ground. It is thriving. A little leaf drop due to week of 100 + temps. Its is more seasonable now in NJ and new leaves are sprouting.

By: Francis Mosse about  Willow Hybrid:
No problem with the trees: good quality.

By: scott about  Meyer Lemon Tree:
I was a little skeptical at first. It did take a long time for my tree to ship (over 45 days) and once it arrived I was wondering what I paid $50.00 for a “twig” but it has since been very impressive. Easy to grow and withstood the heavy wind and rain storms we have had this summer. I would recommend getting the larger tree if you’re looking for quicker results.

By: Carol Johnson about  Double Knockout Rose:
This is the best plant in my yard. if you can't seem to grow roses try growing Knockouts. They are a no fail roses.Anyone can grow them successfully.

By: Constance Brons about  Double Knockout Rose:
The Double3 Knockout Rose is a great addition to my roses. It has produced a huge number of very bright red roses consistently.

By: curt mayer about  Willow Hybrid:
Our hybrid willows are over twenty feet tall in less than 2 years, great windbreak

By: gardening grandma about  Willow Hybrid:
We love our neighbors, we love their kids. We really love the willow hybrid that blocks the kids view of our patio from their fort. 15 feet in 2 years!Thank you fast growing trees!

By: lin about  Willow Hybrid:
these trees have been the fastest and prettiest way to add privacy to our yard ! in the past 2 years they have gone from a twig to full foliege and twice the hieght of the privacy fence.

By: Vicki Scheuher about  Weeping Willow:
I am in love with my willows! I am amazed at the fast growth rate, they are truly beautiful.

By: Lila Bett about  Double Knockout Rose:
These arrived nice and healthy. I planted them right away and the weather here in SC turned beastly hot. I did water them every day the first few weeks and they have survived the summer here and are still blooming away. Very nice and hardy.

By: les dean about  Cryptomeria Radicans:
trees arrived in great shape.
there growth has been very slow! one almost died even though i dug a 5ft round hole 3ft deep and mixed compost with my soil.

By: Kim Cohen about  Emerald Green Thuja:
Arrived very healthy and packed well.

By: Jared about  American Holly:
Holly survived the -20 winter and is doing great.

By: Karen about  Willow Hybrid:
Not having as much luck with these trees as I had hoped. Only one seems to be taking off at this time. They really do come as 'sticks' - hoping with a a little more time we'll see some improvement.

By: Brien Richards about  Meyer Lemon Tree:
Hasn't died yet, but I wonder how much longer it will last. Arrived good and healthy with one green lemon on a lower branch. Heren we nare several months later, the green lemon is still green and has not gained in size. It gets water, as needed, soil checked with two different moistrure content meters. It gets 5 to 6 hours of full sun, we live in arizona. It is planted in a ceramic pot the same size & shape as the one you show in your catalog. The tree has lost about 15% of the leaves it arrived with. we have done all we know in caring for and growing trees. We have had good fortune with a wide variety of plants and trees, including Blueberries, Peach, Appricot, Apple, Pear, and Orange trees to name but a few. Your tree has me stumped. If it survives th ewinter inside, we might just keep it. Still waiting for blooms. It did start to grow new fruit toward the top of the tree. They never matured. Any suggestions will be appriciated. This was a birthday present for my wife of 35 years. The success of this little tree means a great deal to her and to me. Thank you.

By: Linda Ferrell about  Meyer Lemon Tree:
Purchased this lemon tree for my daughter when she moved to Naples, FL when it arrived it was much shorter than I thought it was going to be. It began to grow and had little blooms coming on it and we all got excited thinking that fruit would follow, but it died.

By: Bruce Wall about  Black Bamboo:
Great product! showed up quickly, it was healthier looking than any other products I have looked at. It is growing like crazy!

By: william tormollen about  Willow Hybrid:
i did'nt think the 5 foot twigs they sent me would grow into a 28 foot wall of green. it only took two summers for the willow hybrids to mature enough to block out my neighbors backyard. worth every penny! fast growing, good looking and they did exacting what they described.

By: Cameron about  Weeping Willow:
Great tree and surviving in Colorado very well.

By: david about  Windmill Palm:
Its December here in VA I planted two windmills out front and I have two in large pots n the back yard. They r the only things still green n still growing. I love them n all my neighbors think iam nuts. We'll c when they get judge

By: Dan about  Clementine Tree:
The little tree came in great conditions. Not too tall but within the items description. No blossoms yet but a few new shoots. The little tree is gorgeous and is doing very well. I'm in zone 7 so I have brought it in the home.

By: Potential Customer about  Clementine Tree:
Are there any customers who have purchased this item who actually are picking fruit?? Or are all of these "Only Wishing and Hoping"? I live in Zone 8

By: Bryan about  Dynamite Crape Myrtle Tree:
I bought these crapes a year and a half ago and i would say they have grown maybe 6 inches max. Dont let the 3 and a half comments fool you, they just dont grow that fast, I hoped they would be 5 feet tall by now. They are only a foot and a half still.

By: Steve about  Tulip Poplar:
Tree came packaged extremely well. Expected size. Was not pleased with the root ball. The root ball was loose dirt and coarse mulch and completely fell apart when removing it from the container. I ended up planting the tree with bare roots.

But so far a month in, and I've gone from a four foot bare twig of a tree, to 6 inches of growth and a lot of leaves.

I have no hope for 6 ft of growth this year, but hopefully the tree at least gets established.

Winter will be the real test for me though.

By: Kay about  Willow Hybrid:
I bought 2 of these willow hybrids. They don't look anything like the picture. The leaves are long and sparse. They have grown tall, but have not filled in yet and I planted them last summer. It seems that I don't have the right product.

By: Tammy about  Nellie Stevens Holly:
I am not a great gardener. These were perfect for me. I purchased mine about 3 years ago and they're still going strong. I watered them a good bit during the first 2 weeks, then they've been on their own. Will buy again.

By: Jaime about  Meyer Lemon Tree:
I am very happy with my Meyer Lemon tree, no complaints to speak of My fiance purchased it for my Mother's Day gift this year. It is a nice shape and the new leaves have grown quite a bit in the month or so that I've owned it. I am very much looking forward to my first lemons.

By: Chi about  Frost Proof Gardenia:
I bought two of these last summer. Very dissapointed since there was no flower at all last year an it never come back after the winter.

By: K. Golias about  Fruit Cocktail Tree:
Very cool tree. Didn't expect fruit the 1st yr but with the main tree being a peach tree we have about 40 peaches growing now! We're excited. One graft broke on a windy day so we recommend staking/stabilizing early.

By: Chris Rioux about  Tulip Poplar:
My husband and I take hikes by the Hudson River, and we both decided that out of the 1,000s of trees, this was our absoloute favorite. We live in an apt. so can't put it on our balcony, but if I had a yard - it would be a no brainer. This tree is GORGEOUS!

By: Michelle about  Windmill Palm:
I admit that I was a bit skeptical but this beautiful palm survived the winter in Northern Virginia and is spectacular on my deck.

By: Carole Massey about  Autumn Purple Ash:
I purchased two Autumn Purple Ash. One is doing beautifully, has grown taller and leafed out. The other has died. It never showed any signs of life after being planted. They both received the same care.

By: rachelle williams about  Cryptomeria Radicans:
The height of the trees we ordered were what we expected, but the trees were much scrawnier.... We do hope they grow fast!

By: Jimmylbb about  Juniper 'Skyrocket':
We planted 17 of these around our fenceline to shield our view of our neighbors and I love them. They are growing tall and so beautiful!!!! Will reorder more!!!!

By: Heather Bynum about  Red Haven Peach Tree:
I have a total of 6 fruit trees in my yard, 5 now because one did not come back this spring. (purchased from gurneys-they did not replace it). Of those 6 trees, only one did I purchase from fast growing trees. Last year when I planted it, it tried to grow some peaches in October! I pinched them off. This year it had over 180 peaches growing on it. I hand thinned them down to 4-6 per branch. My other fruit trees, two cherries(one didn't make it), a methley plum, all in one almond, and a pixie crunch apple are looking healthy but did not flower again this year. From now on I will only buy from this company. They sell much older trees that are pre-branched and ready to set fruit. They cost more than other online nurseries, but they are worth every penny! The comparison of trees bought elsewhere in my yard is a testament to why you should consider purchasing your trees from this site.

By: Lizzy about  Autumn Cherry Tree:
I bought one of these trees last fall and was thrilled to see it adapted really well. It bloomed the first spring and it's growing beautifully! In comparison, I bought a Kwanzan cherry tree from a local big box store at the same time, and it still hasn't bloomed... I'm very pleased with the quality from fastgrowingtrees.com :)

By: Stephen Puzio about  Pink Dogwood:
The tree arrived in excellent condition. I have not seen any flowers this spring but the leaves are quite unique and beautiful Hoping next spring will have the wonderful pink foliage.

By: Walter Danowski about  Windmill Palm:
I purchased 4 windmills in early spring this year and planted them in back of my pool between basjoo banana tree. It looks great. So far they are all happy and doing great. I had one by my waterfall for the past 4 years and wrap it in burlap and stuff it with leaves in the winter, and it does fine.

By: Jason in Grand Gorge, NY about  American Beech:
My favorite tree. I have planted almost every kind of tree sold on this site, and Beech trees are my favorite. I would argue that it is one of the slowest growing trees available on this site, so you have to be patient. You are guaranteed to add value to your property over time with one of these.

By: Luis in Austin, TX about  Okame Cherry:
I planted in late October of last year and after its first winter in March it bloomed its first pink flower. This tree has settled well and is growing about 2 feet a year.

By: Ted about  Arapaho Crape Myrtle:
Our crape myrtles are doing extremely well, one has doubled in height and tripled in spread.

By: Craig in Nashville, TN about  Arapaho Crape Myrtle:
My crape myrtle had a rough start, but still looks great! The tree was planted according to the directions, but there were two nights of below freezing temperatures the following weekend. I thought that the tree did not survive, but the next spring it flowered and today it looks great.

By: Sam about  Dynamite Crape Myrtle Tree:
The tree was shipped to my Nephew as a sympathy on the death of his Father. The tree bloomed beautiful this year & has caught up to the other ones in size.

By: Pat in St. Petersburg, FL about  Dynamite Crape Myrtle Tree:
We got the dynamite crape myrtles and planted them right away. I also pruned them to the shape I wanted. They sprouted leaves almost immediately and I got flowers the following year. They smell wonderful and are the easiest trees to take care of. When Im ready to purchase more trees, I will buy from Fast Growing Trees Nursery again in a heart beat.

By: Monica in Long Island, NY about  Dynamite Crape Myrtle Tree:
The Crape Myrtle trees are perfect for any weather, and they dont require any maintenance. They are very tolerant of drought, and needless to say, they are absolutely gorgeous in the blooming season. I have several kinds, and I love them all.

By: ggr1816 in St. Louis, MO about  Dynamite Crape Myrtle Tree:
These trees arrived in great shape. I wasted no time in getting them in the ground in their new homes. They are growing and blooming and extremely healthy and happy. Thanks again FGT. My Italian cypress trees are planted as a border in a row. They are very drought tolerant and are growing well without staking. The trees have grown moderately fast - about 2 feet per year.

STUNNING! We have one of these beautiful trees in our landscape beds a mere 5ft from the house, it is small and STUNNING people constantly stop in front of our house and ask what kind of tree it is! We live in Michigan and the blossoms are always out and in full color by my birthday, June 9th!!

By: Michelle & David in FL about  Royal Empress Tree:
We love this tree. My husband bought this for me for Mothers Day this year, 2009. It came packaged so nice and looked better than most trees that Ive seen in the stores. We planted her immediately and she is growing like crazy. Now she is in the stage where she is all green with branches even at ground level. My husband actually thinks that she was genetically spliced with a weed by the way she grows so quick. LOL

By: Annie in Allentown, PA about  Royal Empress Tree:
I love our empress trees. I bought two and like the rest of the reviews they have sprung up like weeds. I love how you can control the growth. I have even grown a third from a single leaf. Both trees are two years old now and about 20 feet high. I love the big leaves and the shape.

By: Melissa about  Royal Empress Tree:
This flowering tree has beautiful blooms that make my home stand out. An old couple was passing by and asked about them. My neighbors have been talking about these flowers for weeks.

By: Cheryl about  Royal Empress Tree:
I fell for the reviews and HAD to try it. Let me tell you, the reviews are all right! This tree came in a box, looked dead, ,enclosed info and instructions are awesome,. I couldnt plant it right away.  Planted it in a pot and within weeks, this tree was 3 - 4 feet high!!  I wouldnt have believed it if I didnt try it on my own.  You GOTTA try it!

By: Staci in Manor, TX about  Lynwood Gold Forsythia:
I bought 5 of the forsythia plants for borders for my front yard. They arrived with leaves! I usually get sticks. I just planted them, so Im waiting for the yellow promised hope by next spring. They were packed nicely, no problems there. I was surprised by the size and leaves ,lots of healthy leaves,. I will use Fast Growing Trees again on my backyard project next year.

By: Sooner Jim about  October Glory Maple:
I received my new sapling very quickly, followed the easy directions of how to plant it. It grew very quickly ,like a weed!, It looked very beautiful when fall came and held its colorful leaves longer than the other trees.

By: Tina about  Summers Red Maple:
These have been outstanding trees. Purchased 3 of them to add color to current landscaping. We experienced a severe ice storm last Dec. and we didnt have time to protect them however all three held up beautifully with no residual issues. All have grown about 3-4 inches within the first year. We have a lot of clay in our soil which prevents quick growth for about 3 years however once rooted through the clay tree growth tends to catch up quickly. Based on current results with these trees I have no reason to believe they wont catch up as well.

By: Jen in Red Bluff, CA about  Hybrid Poplar:
We planted the Hybrid Poplar in spring of 08, it was about 3-4 feet tall. My ,new, chocolate lab puppy decided to "trim" it by chewing it to about 1 foot tall. We thought it would die. It didnt. As of my last look at the tree, it stands taller than my house!!! Its about 12 feet tall right now!!! Healthy and full and the trunk is about 5 inches in diameter. If you are looking for a fast shade tree ... get this one. Thank you Fast-Growing-Trees.com!

By: Paul in Pine Plains, NY about  Lombardy Poplar:
I planted these Lombardy Poplar trees about two and a half years ago and in their first season were subjected to three months of very strong winds. Despite that they are brilliant, beyond my expectations. I would suggest wind protection and annual fertilizing to promote healthy growth. I cant wait until next year to see how much more they progress.

By: Carole in Bruning, NE about  Golden Raintree:
Received tree Golden Raintree as a gift. It was about 6 inches tall when planted. The next spring it almost looked like a dead twig, but it has taken off and grown to 6 feet in one season. Cant wait for it to bloom next year.

Not sure how long I've had these but they have yet to produce. Maybe I'm doing something wrong.

By: Robert Travale about  Cold Hardy Avocado:
I had some apprehensions about what the condition of the tree would be after shipping. When it arrived it was fine. I wasn't able to plant it for a couple weeks. After planting it took about a month to see any growth then it took off and is doing well.

So many blooms - I would just recommend not pruning it as I don't think mine appreciated it. I do use acid occasionally on it due to soil conditions.

By: Michael about  Eucalyptus Tree:
I purchased two eucalyptus trees from you around August of 2010. In the past year one of them has grown to about 7 feet tall and the other is about 5 feet tall. They are both about 6 feet in diameter. They are really doing well and growing well beyond my expectations. I plan to buy at least 2 more in the spring. I am really impressed. Thank you for supplying such a fine product. The company name says it all Fast Growing Trees.

Wow - I was stunned at how healthy my 2 new Red Dogwood trees are. both were between 6 and 7 feet tall, full of branches and leaves (FedEx did a great job of delivering healthy specimens)... I thought I would be planting two twigs but these are two very beautiful, mature trees.

By: Dan Lee about  Rabbiteye Blueberry:
I bought 30 of your Rabbiteye bushes in the spring of 2011. They arrived in great shape and had berries on them already. They did develop some Iron Chlorosis almost immediately, but that was solved easily by using some fertilizer for acid loving plants. They are doing great now and have grown almost a foot just this summer. I was worried that they might have difficulty growing here, as I am in north central Pennsylvania, but so far so good. While I was hoping to just get the Tift variety I also got Premier, 15 each. From what I understand its best to cross polinate to get better fruit. The Japaneese Beetles seem to prefer the Premier bushes, they leave the Tift alone completely. I wish I had received more of the Tift and less of the Premier for that reason. I can't wait to see what next year brings. I just bought 30 Sweetheart bushes from you too, and am hoping they do just as well.

PLANTED 6 SMALL PLANTS 3/4 FEET IN MAY 2011 IN NO. NEVADA...NOW AUG. 2011. ALL OVER 8 FT. HIGH AND 2 ARE 12 FT ALREADY...

By: Steve Sanger about  Willow Hybrid:
I purchased five trees about three years ago. They arrived sooner than I expected ( we still had snow on the ground and sub zero temps)
I kept them in the house for almost two months and hoped they would make it. The skinny little sticks that arrived are now over 25 feet tall and have 4 in. trunks. We used them as a yard screen as shown in the pictures on your web site.
What an oustanding product.

Love it. It looks bushy right now, but I plan to trim it to look more like a tree. The color is beautiful.

By: Mary Watson about  White Kousa Dogwood:
Ordered a small Kousa Dogwood last year. In advance of receiving the tree I amended the soil, built a little area about 5' diameter and then when it arrived, I planted the tree promptly, following the instructions. I left a small part of the large upper roots (forget what they're called) slightly exposed based on reading about these trees, and mulched the entire area. It just looked like a bent dead stick for a long time, and seemed to take forever to leaf out, but I watered faithfully and the Kousa turned out to be a lovely tree with vibrant Autumn foliage, and has straightened out as well. It is showing signs of life this winter season so I expect it will leaf out sooner this year.

By: JOHN WILBUR about  Norway Spruce:
This tree was shipped fast and in great shape! It was planted in december before any cold weather and seems to be doing great, I live across from a parking lot so I planted this in my front yard to block some wind and for privacy. OMG. Your trees that flower in the warm climate are so beautiful. If i could i would by one of everything. Your fruit looks great too. Wow. Thank you for the vision.

By: Wes about  Eucalyptus Tree:
Amazing trees- also dangerous. The awesome smell comes with a risk. The leaves contain oil- oils that are flammable. I found this out when burning brush. The dried leaves/twigs go up like gasoline.

Rate of growth is true. I ordered two trees about three years ago. They are now bigger than the very $$$ oak trees that I had to plant with a back hoe.

By: linda benson about  Cold Hardy Avocado:
hello, I sent a review when I receiced the trees (meyer lemon, key lime and the avocado) but I do not see it wanted to update...all three are planted and I was going to post a picture, but I see you can't. they all seem to be doing good still waiting to see what happens to the avocado since it looked sick, with brown spots and almost all the leaves chewed and eaten. Could not find espoma products here in vegas even at nurseries, most people never heard of it. should have ordered from you. i talked to a nursery man who gave me a recommendation that he used for his citrus, it is call doctor q's filthy rich potting soil, dr q's gold dust starer fertilizer 5-10-5, and dr q's plant tonic for preventing shock, stress and encourages new growth. so we will see how it goes. I can't wait. I sure hope the avocado pulls thru. thank you hugs linda

Nice little trees. They aren't growing as noticeably as my Green Giants, but then they're not supposed to. These Italian Cypress, however, are very beautiful and arrived quickly, healthy, and in good condition. I think they'll be just dandy in a few years.

By: Heidi Z about  Meyer Lemon Tree:
My lemon tree, bloomed beautifully and smelled awesome.... then died right before my lime tree died. I have no idea what went wrong. I was in the desert when I ordered the tree and had a desert email account and couldn't find my order number so I couldn't get a replacement tree. I was very sad about the whole thing.

By: Linda Pillo about  Arbequina Olive Tree:
I wish I could see this olive tree flourish. It lost many leaves and I clipped off the remaining dead branches. It is now less than it's original size. It has 2 remaining branches on it with brown tipped leaves which I'm afraid will also fall off. It has a couple of new sprouting leaves on the ends. The tree is in a large planter which we moved from inside to outside where it gets @5 hours of direct sunlight a day. Any suggestions would help. I have given it miracle grow and a little ephsam salts. Thanks for following up. Linda

By: Paul about  Arapaho Crape Myrtle:
I planted this tree last fall and thought it had died over the winter. To my amazement the tree grew through out the summer and had beautiful blooms. The packaging was perfect. Very impressed!!! Thanks so much!!

By: Tom in Trinidad, CO about  Arapaho Crape Myrtle:
I planted my red arapaho in my front yard. I almost thought that it wasnt going to come out of it this year as we had a very bad snow storm last year that did a lot of damage. It did not grow from the old shoots it had last year instead it sprouted all new ones that grew rather quickly. It has very beautiful red flowers when it blooms and they last almost until winter starts.

By: Suzanne about  Arapaho Crape Myrtle:
Today is 7/12/08. The Arapaho crape myrtle just arrived and I took it out of the box and watered it. It is twice as big and much healthier than one I got from another nursery in May. I look forward to seeing it grow and bloom.

By: Vince in Las Vegas, NV about  Dynamite Crape Myrtle Tree:
My Crape Myrtle is doing very well. I was skeptical that it would survive here in Las Vegas. However, it bloomed and grew some 10 inches this year. I expect it will do better next growing season after it has passed the transplant shock. Thank you for your service. Mac in Las Vegas.

By: Vic about  White Dogwood:
My dogwood tree is alive and well and stands about three feet now, with buds of leaves about to sprout from its tiny branches by the end of this month. I will be the envy of the neighborhood when that happens! Thank you for a beautiful product!

By: Kory in Lees Summit, MO about  Royal Empress Tree:
We saw this online and we thought... yeah right. We got our empress tree and it grew maybe to 3 feet. Then my dog decided it was the best stick to chew in the winter and chewed it to the ground. We bought one of the larger ones thinking of replacing the one we had. Before the new tree got here the other one had come out of the ground and grew a foot. It is already 6 feet now and about the same size as the one we bought. Amazing tree.

By: Skylar in Olathe, KS about  Royal Empress Tree:
I just had a storm at my house a few days ago with winds in excess of 90-110 MPH! Lots of large trees were damaged and houses were blown apart. But miraculously though our empress tree is going strong! This is a tree that survived hurricane conditions without a problem. I love the tree, it is FABULOUS!

By: Shane in Panama City, FL about  Royal Empress Tree:
I bought these late in the growing season last year. I had heard to plant trees in the colder months. It was bitter cold last winter and the trees died...or so I thought. At the first sign of spring I had brand new tree stalks right beside the old ones. They grew taller than when the old ones in just a week. I have two. One is in bad soil and one is in good soil. You can almost tell no difference between them. Best money I have ever spent.

By: Travis about  Royal Empress Tree:
Ive seen this tree do wonders... Ive gotten a Royal Empress Tree for each of my family members. I got one for my sister, one for my parents, two for my brother in Florida, and 6 for my oldest brother ,to line his driveway with,. The oldest one is no more than 5 years old, and theyre all easily over 25 feet tall. My brother lined his driveway with these trees... in the spring, when you walk around his yard, youre greeted with sweet fragrances from the flowers. A lot of people think these trees are invasive, but out of all the Empress Trees I bought from Fast Growing Trees, I havent seen any invasive activity. No one in my family has had any problems with their trees. Beautiful flowers, too! One of my favorite flowering trees.

By: Bel Air Gardener about  October Glory Maple:
My red maple really started getting tall this year. It is now about 7 feet tall. The leaves this fall were so red they almost seemed to glow. It is wonderful that it starts its show of red after most of the other trees have finished their color change. The October Glory adds a final spark of color to my garden as winter approaches. It is really quite striking and make a nice match for a burning bush I also have in the yard.

By: Hunter Cannon about  Clementine Tree:
My tree arrived smaller than expected, but within the product description. It was about 2-3 feet long and about the diameter of a pencil with about 5-6 leaves on it. This is the first tree I've bought via shipping.
It's been nearly a year now and the tree has grown only a little taller but now has a reasonable amount if new growth and several new branches (some of them are growing out from near the base right now). It has not produced any fruit or blossoms yet. I assume at the current growth rate it will be another year or two before I can expect to get any.

By: John Benyo about  Arbequina Olive Tree:
I own two Arbequina Olive Trees both are thriving and growing. unfortunately neither has produced any olives. One tree was planted last fall 2010 and the other the other spring 2011. My ground is heavy clay and I had to supplement with a mixture of soil and fertilized with fruit tree spikes. We are experiencing extreme heat conditions here in Texas and the trees seem healthy. In addition to the olive trees I have planted a couple of pear trees, orange trees, peach trees all are taller then the fence but none have produced any fruit with exception of the orange trees. I have hopes for them next year.

By: maria about  Cryptomeria Radicans:

By: Cheryl Graeve about  Cold Hardy Avocado:
My tree arrived very well packaged. Great care appears to be taken to ensure your plant arrives unharmed. For the most part the tree looked healthy except there was some spots on a number of leaves and some other stuff on the back of some of the leaves. I am unfamiliar with fruit tree diseases so I took pictures of the leaves the very next day and email a copy to Fast Growing Trees for some advice. I figured since the problem was there when the tree arrived that they should offer some assistance. To my dismay, I never even received a response to my email. The tree continues to have the issue but also continues to have new growth. I have treated the tree with a fruit tree spray that is suppose to treat disease and pests. The organic spray used initially didn't work so I went with something else. Hopefully it will work so that whatever it is doesn't kill the tree.

By: Michele Victorelli about  Cryptomeria Radicans:
I like your company, but not extremely happy with my order. When I received my products they were very dry and somewhat shriveled up. I planted them according to your directions, but they still died. I called your company and was informed to return the products, which was not an easy task. The process of packing dead plants was a mess, so I just threw them out. My fault I understand. I was told they could not be replaced without proof of the dead plants,
which I did not keep. So, needless to say
I did not reorder anything else. I (may) order a (small) variety of a holly plant in the future. thanks for asking.
