The Thuja Green Giant is the Fastest Growing  Evergreen Tree (3-5 feet per year once established). Thick, compact privacy screen. Easy to Grow.

"Quickly screen out neighbors or unsightly areas....without taking up a lot of yard space..."

• Grows up to 3-5 feet per year once established
• Drought tolerant
• Disease & insect resistant
• Easy to grow & very adaptable

Thuja green giants grow in a uniform shape and height. You get that classic French Renaissance look without having to prune or shear.

In fact, you don't have to do anything to them. They're drought tolerant and have no significant insect or disease problems.

Thuja Giants are a popular alternative to pest prone evergreen trees like hemlocks and pines.

You'll never have to worry about mixing chemicals or spraying these trees. Not prone to deer and bagworm problems.

This is a tough tree. Resists ice and snow damage. Grows in almost any soil, even sandy loam or heavy clays. Prefers direct sunlight, but also does well in partial shade.

The Thuja Green Giant is the perfect fast growing evergreen for a privacy hedge or wind screen. Plant every 5-6 feet for a thick barrier.

You can easily trim them once a year to your desired height. Left unpruned- Thuja Green Giants planted in rows can reach as high as 20-30 feet.

Your Thuja foliage stays soft & thick all year long.

Beware... all Thuja Green Giants are not the same. Some nurseries sell newly rooted, Thuja branch cuttings as plants. Thuja Giants are a hybrid and don’t grow from seed. They are started by planting branch cuttings.

We take these rooted cuttings and grow them in large pots for a full 1-2 years longer than our competitors, depending on the size of the tree. This way you get a hardy, well developed root system that is ready to support rapid growth.

Many nurseries try to sell you newly rooted Thuja branch cuttings as evergreen trees. They’re not only delicate, but you’ll see very little growth the first year. They have to establish a stronger root system first. Often these are sold as “bare root” or in small pots.

We understand that you don’t want to wait for your trees to grow. You can be assured that when you order from Fast Growing Trees Nursery, you are getting the highest quality, fastest growing Thuja Green Giants available.

For quickest privacy, we now have a lmited supply of large trees available. They sell out every year, so we recommend that you order yours now.

Received our order of 12 within a few days of ordering and the packaging was great. Plants look really healthy. We ordered the 1-2 ft. size and just finished planting them on the upper part of our berm that takes in six backyards. If it hadn't been for all the rain we've had this past month, I would have waited until fall to order.

My husband and I just bought 29 Thuja Green Giants to plant along a fence line on our property to form a privacy screen...for us AND the neighbors! I'm very glad that we finally just jumped in and did it. I was very pleased with how the trees looked when we got them. They were here in right over a week, and when we took them out of the box, they were very neatly laid out, still very green, and they were alert! We planted them four evenings ago, and they are all still green, although two or three are sort of leaning over.

I live in the high desert with temp 100+ in the summer. I water the heck out of my Thuja's and the one in the low spot with the most water is by far the biggest. I planted 29 in a row, approx 4ft apart and 12 inches from a 6ft privacy fence. All 29 are 5-6ft tall now and are beginning to touch each other. I use fertilizer stakes evenly between each tree and they're doing great. Great trees!!

Great packing job. I bought the 2 to 3 footers, and that's what they were. Nice root system and put them in right away, followed instructions with the root fertilizer in hard rocky soil and added 50% topsoil in with backfill. I'll update growth progress as it happens. I'm curious to see how they do in Washington state.

I have planted 27 of these over two years at two different times. They are all alive and doing well. The ones the catch most of the sun have outgrown the ones I planted the year prior by over a foot. Don't water them too much and watch them grow. I would order them in the early season so you get the most mature you can get for your money. I do believe these are more mature and thus will grow faster.

After an extensive addition/remodel we planted a row of Thuja Green Giant evergreens that replaced a century-old oak tree that had to be removed. Over night we lost our privacy, but the Thuja Giants are now a year old, have already grown about 3 - 4 feet in height and thickened up. In a few short years we'll have our privacy back without the foundation damaging roots from the prior oak tree. They are healthy and growing like weeds!

Fortunately, my Thuja's have not been eaten by the deer! They are GREAT with 4 foot growth in less than 1-1/2 years. I'm hoping the second year of growth will yield even better results.

A few months after getting the thujas, we ordered 6 Leland cypresses from a different local nursery to put along the other fence line. They were about 5 feet tall, on sale, and I now definitely regret purchasing them. One died, and we replaced it - expensive. The replacement died, and the one next to that as well. Of the 4 Lelands remaining, 2 are almost certainly dead.
