These small crape myrtles pack a punch! Ruby Dazzle Crape Myrtles only mature up to 2-3 ft. tall, so you can plant these anywhere you'd enjoy full, long-lasting pink flowers!
The Ruby Dazzle Crape Myrtle is one of the smallest crape myrtles. They can be grown in very small spaces in your garden, patio, or courtyard.

It's perfect for crape myrtle lovers who don't have much yard space.

This shrub grows only 3 feet tall, and 3 feet wide, allowing you to plant this shrub almost anywhere, even in containers!

No pruning is required for these crape myrtles to thrive. Their small, naturally rounded form is the perfect complement to your landscape.

The Ruby Dazzle Crape Myrtle grows well in most areas of the country, too. They love the sun, but will do well with a little shade during the day.

This shrub is especially disease-resistant, mildew resistant, and drought tolerant.

The Ruby Dazzle has vibrant pink blooms that arrive mid-summer and last into the fall. Because of its size, many growers plant several of these Crape Myrtles together to create borders, or large splashes of color in your landscape. The wonderful bronze - red foliage enhances its colorful display.

The Ruby Dazzle Crape Myrtle would look absolutely stunning when paired with daylilies and hydrangeas. As an accent plant, or when planted in groups, this compact shrub is easy to grow and perfectly suited for the home garden.

Why not try them in a rock garden, for something totally unique.

These new "Razzle Dazzle" crape myrtles are taking the landscaping world by storm. The word is out on these unique Crape Myrtles, so be sure to get yours while we still have them available!

It's Easy to Plant your Ruby Dazzle Crape Myrtle
Step 1 - Dig Your Hole
Select a site with full to partial sun and moist or well drained soil for your Ruby Dazzle Crape Myrtle . If you're planting a hedge, mark out a visual guide by placing stakes five to six feet apart and looping string around them. Plant the trees where the stakes are and they'll grow together to make a dense privacy screen. First, dig each hole so that it is just shallower than the root ball and at least twice the width. Then loosen the soil in the planting hole so the roots can easily break through. Use your shovel or try dragging the points of a pitch fork along the sides and bottom of the hole.
Step 2 - Place Your Tree
Next, separate the roots of your Ruby Dazzle Crape Myrtle gently with your fingers and position them downward in the hole. The top of the root flare, where the roots end and the trunk begins, should be about an inch above the surrounding soil. Then make sure the tree is exactly vertical in the hole. To make it just right, use a level.
Step 3 - Backfill Your Hole
As you backfill the hole, apply water to remove air pockets. Remove debris like stones and grass and completely break up any dirt clumps. Water your Ruby Dazzle Crape Myrtle again after the transplant is complete. To help retain some of that moisture, it's recommended that you place mulch around each tree to a depth of 2"-3" up to but not touching the trunk. Organic mulches such as wood chips or pine needles also help to better soil structure as they decompose.
