After one year, all 4 of these trees are doing very well in San Diego's East county. They've been deep watered once each week, and will now be cut back to once every other week. The Crape Myrtles are still showing blooms one week before Thanksgiving. All Crape Myrtles are now over 6 feet tall, and yes, you will have to constantly trim new lower growth if you want to maintain a single trunk tree.

I like the Tonto crape myrtle very much . The tree is planted in my front yard .. I planted in front of a window to block the view from the street to give me privacy.. maybe next year it will have already grown high enough to cover the window......

We bought the Tonto crepe myrtle for a centerpiece for our front flowerbed. I only wish the larger size was available as we have to wait a year for it to grow to expected height. Hardy plants... they bloomed just like its described.

The Tonto crape myrtles I ordered from your company one year ago are growing fast and survived our summer heat with regular watering and mulching. I planted them to bring beauty to my back yard and add more privacy from neighbors. The only problem is that they did not bloom during this first growing season, so hopefully they will blossom next summer.
