Growing fast and looks great! This bush is thriving in my red clay, sandy soil. I can't believe how well it's doing and how much it has grown. It has several flowers and should have a lot of berries this summer.

Blackberries planted in partial shade related to hot, humid Baltimore summers, difficultly in maintaining ground moisture. Fruited first summer after spring planting. Young plants, sparse but taste-packed fruit performing quite well in planting setting (which is also adjacent to fence for support if use as screen). Most successful blackberry plants purchased.

These bushes were a great deal. I planted them the first year I got some great black berries off of them.

I planted all five of the plants in the North-west corner of my yard. They are doing great and have vines up to five feet long. I am looking forward to harvesting my first crop of blackberries this summer.
