Purchased and planted this tree in late Feb 2009. Tree is now 6 feet tall... The tree grew 5 feet in 6 months! Has leaves like you wouldn't believe. They are about 10 inches long by 8 inches wide. I'm guessing the tree will have grown to 8 feet tall by the end of summer if not more.

We planted our hybrid poplar in the front yard (our first tree). It has grown so fast! The leaves are healthy and big (some are as much as 6 inches wide). Every couple of days we measure it because it is growing so fast. We planted the tree at the end of March. It is now the middle of July and the tree has grown 3 feet and 3 inches! We do have to stake the tree as it grows a little faster than it is able to support itself. It is a great tree! The neighbors have commented on watching it grow. We are talking about which shade tree to buy next for the backyard.

I planted the Hybrid Poplar tree in the Fall of 2008. It was 3 ft tall and of course I had my doubts. But once Spring rolled in the tree started sprouting leaves. We've gotten so much rain this spring that our tree is well over 7 feet tall and already is showing a full collection of leaves - looking like a mini tree. I placed three heavy stakes around the tree to prevent severe swaying. We've also gotten alot of wind this past spring. I guess I'm a little cautious but I'm so proud of this tree I don't want it to be uprooted. I expect to continue to grow well over 12 feet this year! So far so good, I'm very happy and excited.

I love my trees and I am so glad that I went to your website. These trees are great and are growing faster than any trees I have seen. I thought that a Maple tree grew quick but the Hybrid Poplar and the Royal Empress blow them away. Great Company and Great trees! Thank You for being in business and I will be buying more next spring.

Planted my tree late summer 2007. Last year was the first full year of growth and as advertised it grew about 10 feet. If the tree grows at the same pace this year my deck will have afternoon shade for the first time.

I live in Florida and the back of our home faces West. Very Hot. We planted our hybrid poplar tree right off the patio. We needed shade desparately. With any other tree we would wait years for the growth we need to get shade. Well, let me tell you everything you said about this tree is true. It is a little over a year and half and it is now 15 feet tall. We are amazed, and so are people that visit. I pointed out to them when I planted the tree or should I say stick. Now! They can't believe it is the same tree. I had intentions of purchasing two more for my son for the front of his home here in Florida.

My hybrid poplar trees arrived in very good shape. I planted my poplars behind my vinyl privacy fence as a windbreak. The wind in Wyoming is brutal and the little trees took quite a beating last winter. I did stake them and fence them, putting up burlap as a protector. They leafed out well in the spring and looked good all summer but did not get as big as I had hoped. They probably grew 2 feet but are still not visible over my six foot fence. I am watering them with a drip system probably 2.5 gallons a day or double that when the temp is over 95 degrees. Maybe I should water more gallons less often ? The soil is very clayey but I tried to amend it well before planting. All in all I love the trees and am very satisfied with the purchase.

I planted my hybrid poplar tree 2 years ago. It has done very well and has grown faster than I thought it would. I'm sure it will be a beautiful tree. It has been no trouble and is growing in somewhat rocky soil.

We planted the Hybrid Poplar in spring of 08, it was about 3-4 feet tall. My (new) chocolate lab puppy decided to "trim" it by chewing it to about 1 foot tall. We thought it would die. It didn't. As of my last look at the tree, it stands taller than my house!!! Its about 12 feet tall right now!!! Healthy and full and the trunk is about 5 inches in diameter. If you are looking for a fast shade tree ... get this one. Thank you Fast-Growing-Trees.com!

This tree is growing steadily after overcoming an initial shock phase. It made great strides this summer, and it's foliage is 2-3 times thicker and the height is about 1 foot taller than last summer. Tolerates drought well. Easy to plant.

I got some Hybrid Poplars to help block the sun while we are outside on our deck. The trees are great so far. The are growing so fast, just as advertised. I am hoping that the are tall enough to block the sun next summer.

Very vigorous grower! Specimen tree in front and back yards - it is a great growing tree. They have both doubled in size already. One problem we had in the back yard tree it grew so fast it doubled over - proper staking and support corrected the problem quickly. We are very happy with them.

When I planted 5 Hybrid Poplars in the Fall of 2007 they were just "sticks" about 4 ft. tall. I planted three of them on the west side of our home to shade two bedroom windows and two in the front yard, facing South, for landscaping.

The two in front are now about nine feet tall and the ones on the west side are about five feet tall. All are very healthy and I'm looking forward to the shade they will provide.

It's growing by leaps and bounds. It has a nice shape. The trunk will probably be strong enough next year to go without being supported. A few times we thought our winds had totally blown it down, but we would stake it up again and it continued to grow.
