Up To Seven Months Of Bright, Tropical Blooms

Plumerias steal the show for months from April all the way into November with their clusters of large, 5 petal  blossoms with a unique spiral shape. Their vibrant  hue pops against their lush, dark green leaves to transform your landscape into a tropical paradise.

Plumerias or ‘lei flowers’ are easily recognized because they are the flowers used to make leis in Hawaii. Once your friends and family see your  Plumeria shrubs they will instantly feel like they’re on an exotic island far away.

However, you don’t have to live in a tropical climate to grow  Plumerias. If you live outside of growing zone 10 simply place yours in a container and bring it indoors during the colder months.

As a container plant  Plumerias will thrive as they brighten up the porch or patio. They are beautiful as entryway plants, and love hanging out by the pool. Plus  Plumeria blossoms have a sweet fragrance that will fill your favorite outdoor space with a rich floral scent

When planted in the ground Plumerias can be trained as trees for foundation plantings or kept in shrub form to accent gardens as well as form hedgerows or borders.

Outdoors  Plumerias can grow up to 40 feet tall and 20 feet wide, making them the perfect choice for a colorful privacy screen. Their thick foliage will form an impenetrable, solid living wall to keep your nosey neighbors out.

Plumerias are one of the toughest flowering shrubs available with a high level of drought and heat resistance as well as a high salt tolerance. They’re perfect for coastal regions and dry areas. You’ll be able to relax and enjoy their low maintenance nature and vivid flowers all season long.

Planting & Care

It's Easy to Plant & Care for Your Plumeria

Step 1: Dig Your Hole

Select a site with full to partial sun and moist or well drained soil for your Plumeria.

First, dig each hole so that it is just shallower than the root ball and at least twice the width.

Then loosen the soil in the planting hole so the roots can easily break through.

Use your shovel or try dragging the points of a pitch fork along the sides and bottom of the hole.

Planting & Care

Step 2: Place Your Plant

Next, separate the roots of your Plumeria gently with your fingers and position them downward in the hole.

The top of the root flare, where the roots end and the trunk begins, should be about an inch above the surrounding soil.

Then make sure the plant is exactly vertical in the hole.

To make it just right, use a level.

Step 3: Backfill Your Hole

As you backfill the hole, apply water to remove air pockets.

Remove debris like stones and grass and completely break up any dirt clumps.

Water your Plumeria again after the transplant is complete.
