It's Simple to plant a plant Okame Flowering Cherry Tree

Step 1 - Dig Your Hole
Keep in mind when selecting your planting site that The Okame Flowering Cherry grows best in full to partial sun. Places where cold air settles should also be avoided. Dig your hole slightly shallower than the root ball and about twice the size of the root system. You might want to put the soil in a wheel barrow since you'll be using it for backfill later. It is also suggested that you roughen-up the soil on the sides of the planting hole with your shovel. This will allow the roots to easily penetrate the soil as they grow.
Step 2 - Place Your Tree
Next, gently separate the roots with your fingers or a blunt garden tool and guide them downward in the hole. Make sure the tree is vertical in the hole (you may want to use a level). The root ball should be about an inch above the surrounding soil. Turn the tree so that the best side of your Okame Flowering Cherry tree is where you want it.
Step 3 – Backfill Your Hole
In stages, fill the hole back in with soil and add water to remove air pockets. Water the tree again after you're finished backfilling. You should place mulch around the tree to a depth of 2"-3" and up to but not touching the trunk. This will help keep the soil moist and slow the growth of weeds and grass.
