America's Fastest Growing Shade Tree!

Otherwise known as the Royal Empress Tree, the Paulownia Tree has grown up to 18 feet the first growing season, and usually reaches 25 feet the third year. We guarantee you'll have fun watching this tree.

Even more spectacular is its amazing beauty. The tree blooms colorful, lavender flowers in the spring that look and smell wonderful.

Grow it when you're in a hurry for quick shade, privacy or when you just need a beautiful ornamental showpiece.

Its canopy creates dense shade for your home in the summer months. Then lets sunlight through in the winter - when you need it most.

The Paulownia Tree is able to thrive in most areas throughout the United States, and has even been known to grow in certain parts of Canada and Mexico.

Has no significant disease or insect problems. Grows in almost any kind of soil, even toxic ones. A drought tolerant tree that's hard to kill.

Prefers Growing Zones 5-11. Can be planted any time.

This is the easiest to grow tree we have ever seen.

The Paulownia Tree has recently received a great deal of publicity. It's been recommended in newspapers and on TV shows like Oprah.

This publicity has fueled demand for the tree. You won't find them at your local garden center, but you will find them here - while supplies last.

We purchased paulownia elongata seeds from the company a year ago for a project in Panama of people of extreme poverty. The germination rate was excellent and growth rates during the rainy season are 9 inches a week.

Reviewed by Melissa:

I purchased 4 paulownias in 2004 and this past spring we got our first beautiful flowers on them, and now everyone is asking about these trees and about the buds all over them. I say I dont know much about these trees except they are fast growing.

I though you'd be interested in hearing about how our Paulownia Tree is doing.  We cut it back to a stub in April.  It grew 13 feet from April to Sept. 12.  Hurricane Ike hit and it was stripped down to 2 branches and some stubs.  Now, 2 weeks after the hurricane it has more growth at the top.

I planted 2 paulownia trees on may 30,2006. Here it is August 2008 and 1 tree is about 25 feet tall and the other one is about 20 feet tall. Both trees appear to have buds on them for the spring of 2009. Both are great trees.
