We know you want fast-growing trees that hardy, and are perhaps even native to Georgia. What would your Peach State garden be without its own peach tree? They are easy to grow and disease resistant. For small but equally effective boundary screens, consider non-invasive Black Bamboo or the variegated Soft Touch Holly.
Tifton is the state soil of Georgia. It was one of the first types of soil to be recognized in the state and covers around 2 million acres. It is a rich soil comprised of loam and marine sediments. Tifton is one of the state’s most important soils for agriculture.
