Everything you love about gardenias in a miniature tree

If want to grow Gardenias but don't have much space then the Gardenia Bonsai is the perfect option. As a result of its compact size, it can fit anywhere. Any table or counter top will have enough space to display this blooming bonsai.

Like larger Gardenia shrubs the Gardenia Bonsai is an evergreen and sports wide, lush green leaves all year. The eye-catching leaves serve as the perfect back drop for the sensational white gardenia blooms to pop against every spring.

The Gardenia Bonsai arrives in a showy glazed pot, color may vary. They also arrive with a humidity tray and deco rocks, so it's ready to put on display as soon as you open the box. Imagine having this potted tree as the center piece on your table during brunch, or on your porch to greet your guests with beautiful blooms as they arrive.

No matter where you place your Gardenia Bonsai it will fill the space with the sweet smelling scent of its flowers. The rich scent will drift from room to room, naturally sweetening the air in your home.

Not only will you have a pretty little flowering tree, but you'll get to enjoy the art of bonsai and all of its benefits. Studies show that bonsai trees help to relieve stress, increase creativity and purify the air.

We have already taken care of the hard part for you. This tree has been trained for 4 years to stay small, so you will get a mature bonsai that is low maintenance and easy to care for. All you will need to do is decide where it will look best.

This tree is quickly becoming one of the most popular bonsais! Be sure to order yours today, before they're gone!

A Little worried
It arrived quickly and packaged very well. Not a single branch or flower bud (it must have at least 75 buds on it.

Yesterday morning I noticed it looked really wilted. I checked the moisture with a meter and that was fine. It may be operator error, but today I will contact Customer Service. I have no doubt it will be resolved to my satisfaction

Everything I have received from FGT has been top quality, and I don't expect any difference here..

Planting & Care

It's Easy to Plant & Care for Your Gardenia Bonsai

Step 1: Dig Your Hole

Select a site with full to partial sun and moist or well drained soil for your Gardenia Bonsai .

First, dig each hole so that it is just shallower than the root ball and at least twice the width.

Then loosen the soil in the planting hole so the roots can easily break through.

Use your shovel or try dragging the points of a pitch fork along the sides and bottom of the hole.

Planting & Care

Step 2: Place Your Plant

Next, separate the roots of your Gardenia Bonsai gently with your fingers and position them downward in the hole.

The top of the root flare, where the roots end and the trunk begins, should be about an inch above the surrounding soil.

Then make sure the plant is exactly vertical in the hole.

To make it just right, use a level.

Step 3: Backfill Your Hole

As you backfill the hole, apply water to remove air pockets.

Remove debris like stones and grass and completely break up any dirt clumps.

Water your Gardenia Bonsai again after the transplant is complete.

what are care instructions for indoors? only received outdoor instructions
Sharon T on Dec 18, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Place it near a sunny window and put water in the tray and never allow it to dry out. Fertilize once a month with any general-purpose liquid fertilizer.
Does this and the other gift trees come as photo wth the container ?
Shannon C on Nov 8, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Yes! It comes as photo with the container and plate and a side of rocks. The rocks can be put on the soil with the plant or on the plate with the container and plant on top. I have purchased two and there are usually no blooms on arrival but plant blooms soon afterwords.
gardenia bonsai can it stay inside?
Sharon T on Dec 18, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Yes it can stay indoors.
how often does it bloom, how long do blooms last?
robert f on Oct 22, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Thank you for contacting us. The blooming period of gardenia Bonsai can last for 3 to 4 months. However, this is all dependent upon the environment the plant is kept in and the care it receives. Be certain to fertilize your plant to help with bloom quality.
