This dwarf cherry tree was bred by the University of Minnesota in 1950. It has seen tremendous popularity due to its richly colored bark, beautiful white spring flowers and bounty of juicy, dark red fruit production.

These cherries have an extraordinary flavor and tender skin. They ripen in late June to late July.

Not only are the North Star cherries easy to pick, they are self pollinating and extremely hardy. The North Star Cherry Tree is ideal for zones 4-8, and more adaptable to cooler climates than any other cherry.
