Temperature and humidity: Drift Roses are durable plants that grow well in most regions. Depending on the variety, they are hardy in USDA zones 4 through 11.
When to plant: The ideal time to plant Drift Roses is whenever you want, as long as the ground allows! You can plant them in the spring, summer, or fall.
Sun: Drift Roses need at least 6 hours of sunlight daily.
Soil: Drift Roses do best in a balanced soil with a pH between 5.5 and 6.5.
Water: Water your Drift Roses well when you first plant them. During their first growing season, keep the soil damp to moist. Once established, you only need to water the flower in drought conditions or if the plant is drooping.
Fertilizer: This mesmerizing variety doesn’t need fertilizer. However, you can apply a small amount of balanced fertilizer to give Drift Roses more oomph. Do not fertilize until after the roses go through one bloom cycle.
Pruning: Cut back Drift® Roses to about 6 to 8 inches from the ground once a year.
