This is the fastest growing privacy tree you can find! Shooting up to 6-12 ft. per year… filling out quickly to create a solid green wall.

They are also disease resistant, drought resistant (once established) and almost never have problems.

They're tolerant of both hot and cold climates, growing as far north as Canada, and as far south as Florida and Texas. Great in any soil, too.

Like most trees, you should avoid planting near septic systems and should allow a minimum distance of 15 feet from structures.

You see these hybrids advertised under different names such as the Austree, Ausstree, Aussie Tree and Ameri-Willow. The tree is a cross between the Salix matsudana and Salix alba, also known as Willow Hybrid.

These hybrids are not evergreens, but do put on thick foliage and branching. While most dense in the growing season, you still can enjoy privacy and wind blockage in the dead of winter.

You see these trees all the time in new home developments... they're planted as a quick privacy screen to block out roads and construction.

Willow Hybrids pack quite a punch. When you receive your new trees they will look like thin "whips" that are just beginning to leaf out. Space them about 5 feet apart when planting and watch them take off! They will shoot up to 6-12 ft. per year, and fill in quicker than any tree we've seen. You should get a thick green privacy screen by the end of your first full growing season.

You can trim off the lower branches if you want a shade tree. If you want a privacy hedge then trim the tops each year and they will grow very dense.

This is an amazingly versatile tree that can be planted any time of year. You’ll enjoy watching how quickly it grows.

These are very fast growing trees. I've pruned mine into some beautiful trees. Austrees are pretty messy, and they lose their leaves all summer long.
