Good size and root ball!
I was pleasantly surprised to receive fairly full, 3 foot tall plants with fully developed root balls in 2 gallon containers. The plants could have been placed into the shipping boxes with more care since some branches were broken off. The plants were bone dry on arrival and are currently being watered to get re-hydrated. I expect them to recover from their shipping ordeal based upon what I have observed so far.
Healthy plant, small root ball
Prior to ordering I had contacted customer service to make sure the root ball would be established in the larger sizes. They assured me it would so I ordered the 3gal size Holly, which arrived well packed and healthy. However, the root ball was very small and not established for the size pot I purchased. After writing a review, not seeking any “fixes”, just explaining what was delivered, customer service contacted me to apologize and offered a partial refund. This surprised me and definitely made me more confident in ordering plants with them in the future as this company seems genuinely invested in customer satisfaction!
