Thank You for making an Ethiopian family more self sufficient. For each tree you order… a fruit tree or fast growing tree is planted in deforested areas.

Your donated trees provide income and independence. Special Fast Growing Trees have been developed to grow 20 feet in the first year in these harsh environments. Their leaves are high in protein, so they can be fed to goats and other livestock. They also increase the nutrients in the soil, stop erosion, channel water to aquifers and encourage the growth of other crops.

Your donated trees are grown in local nurseries through our partnership with Trees for the Future. They have planted 50 million trees in 58 countries in hopes of reversing the harmful effects of deforestation.

As the world loses 100,000 acres of forest each day, planting trees has become critical. But when you see how lives can be changed from a tiny, self-sustaining piece of land, it’s a true miracle.
